We believe that it is important for organisations to explain what they are doing and why, to develop their own individual social story, that is unique and honest. We help conceptualise and design publication material which showcases organisational purpose and impact to stakeholders. Furthermore, we help to represent and communicate social programs in an engaging and interesting fashion. Mediums and tools deployed facilitate dialogue, launch debates and foster interactive and inclusive communication processes. We use various dissemination methods: illustrations, digital storytelling through videos, podcasts/multimedia broadcasts, photo exhibitions, posters/banners, fact sheets/information calendars, etc. ‘
Internal documentationDeveloped systems of collecting, storing, consolidating and analysing work of organisations with reporting templates that can cater to information requirements. Reports aim at improving transparency and enhancing oversight, in order to facilitate effective performance monitoring, evaluation and corrective action. This includes monthly reports, quarterly reports, case studies, event documentation, etc.
Developed a white paper on proceedings of the Annual Good Conclave 2016. The Good Conclave aimed to create a collaborative framework, bring together implementation agencies and donors, and facilitate a participatory, broad base dialogue and consultations on skill development. Panel discussions at the conclave shaped the white paper, which deliberated on the big picture, the overall goal, the necessity of and the urgency for action in the skill development sector. This literature shall help stakeholders and decision makers gain an insight into expert opinions and actionable recommendations.
Prepared the 2015-16 Annual Report for Sun Pharma, which is globally the 5th largest and India’s top specialty generic pharmaceutical company. The company has been instrumental in driving CSR projects through its own department and also through its NGO, namely Sun Pharma Community Healthcare Society (SPCHS). Sun Pharma’s social interventions for 2015-16 spread across 8 states covering approximately 273 villages. The publication focused on stakeholder dialogue and documenting case studies. Areas of CSR support were matched to Sustainable Development Goals.
FUEL works in 2500+ schools and has reached 5 lakh+ students. The project has received the highly prestigious Ashoka Fellowship and appreciation from former President of India Dr. Kalam and many elected Member of Parliaments and known CSR Foundations. 4th Wheel plans and executes all reporting and documentation of the organisation, preparing impact assessment reports, marketing and communication collateral, annual reports, module development, literature reviews, etc.
Created a case study publication on the Lok Sabha Election for the Narmada District Administration. Objectives of the assignment were to document processes, operations, activities and innovations and elaborate on issues, risks faced in earlier implementation, solutions and interventions undertaken, results that arose and the current functioning.
Coastal Gujarat Power Limited - Services provided include content and design for annual reports of the last four years, training implementation staff, M&E frameworks, white papers, process reports, CSR Publications, monthly reports, brochures, website content, employee engagement program (concept, employee outreach and monitoring ), partner NGO training, knowledge management, development of CSR video and other collateral, among others.
Central India Initiative - The Tata Trust's Central India Initiative has been focusing on enhancing the quality of life of tribal communities in the Central Indian tribal belt for last several years and as part of this initiative, Tata Trusts launched a Mission Programme called “Lakhpati Kisan – Smart Villages” in April last year. 4th Wheel developed CInI’s 2015-16 Annual Report, where the scope of work included developing content, designing and data collection with varied stakeholders in Gujarat and Jharkhand.
Developed newsletters to communicate with varied stakeholders on achievements and work related to home based workers. Objectives were to highlight HNSA and partner organization’s knowledge and work, fuel cross learning and collaborations and provide information on members and related work.
Prepared 17 case studies on beneficiaries of 10 varied water harvesting structures for Saline Water Management in Coastal areas of Gujarat. The project included data collection and analysis, interviews with stakeholders, photo documentation, creative writing and design.
Research and content generation for development of 'tool kit on emergency and disaster management'. The objective was to prepare a resource guide to varied aspects of Emergency and Disaster Management which would strengthen the understanding on emergency management, link disaster management with business sustainability and build capacities for community resilience.
Prepared the 2015-16 Annual Report for the organisation. Tasks included primary research, report conceptualization and structure, content generation, creative writing, formatting and editing and publication design.
Three year project report of HelpAge India’s health interventions undertaken in partnership with Cairn India. The report included both quantitative information, qualitative case studies and was substantiated with creatives visuals like sketches, photographs and charts.
SAATH Livelihoods established the ‘Business Gym’, to encourage micro entrepreneurship. The progress report showcased the successes of business gym and its members, illustrated the benefits of micro- entrepreneurship and highlighted the potential of small-scale businesses, with the right kind of support.
Project report outlining impact of a three year program conducted with Arvind Mills in Ahmedabad. The organisation runs environment education programs which helps children understand relationships and connect to their environment, in a holistic fashion.
Concept and design for the organisation’s brochure which focused on the organisation and its varied programs and partnerships. Content was interesting and informative, supported with appropriate images, and a call to action.
4th Wheel undertook an assessment of Aashray's portfolio organisations to prepare a compendium based on findings. 14 incubated organisations were identified to undertake a rapid assessment of their impact, financial performance and increase in networks since their association with Aashray. Aims of the project also included comprehensive documentation of portfolio organisations, identification of inputs and areas of association with Aashray, SWOT analysis of incubatees, garnering stakeholder views of each organisation and setting a base for future associations.
Three documents were prepared for the NGO. This included content and design for the organisation’s mission and concept note, partner proposals for NGO's, schools and corporates and a company presentation.
