Theory Of Change
A framework to design and evaluate community initiatives, proven to be key to ensure strategic impact orientation

MEAL Frameworks
A summary of performance metrics and outcomes, specifying targets, timelines, methods as well as planned data collection processes

NGO Management
NGO and partner strategies to ensure successful alignment of different programs to contribute to organisational goals

Theory of Change
Development
A clear Theory of Change lays the foundation for strong programs. We guide teams to define outcomes, map pathways of change, and link activities to results. This shared framework builds alignment across the organization and ensures impact is both intentional and measurable.

Indicator Benchmarking
and Enhancement
Indicators tell the story of progress. We help organizations refine and strengthen their indicators — aligning them with outcomes, ensuring measurability, and benchmarking them against sector standards. This creates credible, comparable, and actionable evidence of change.

Advancing Your
Data Collection Tools
Good evidence begins with good tools. We support teams in designing surveys, checklists, and participatory instruments that are practical, context-appropriate, and aligned with program outcomes — ensuring data collected is both meaningful and reliable.

Qualitative
Data Analysis
Numbers show trends, but stories reveal meaning. Our trainings build skills to analyze interviews, FGDs, and participatory data using Dedoose software, enabling teams to surface deeper insights and strengthen the human perspective in evaluations.

Reporting for
Impact
Reports are more than compliance documents — they are narratives of change. We train teams to present findings with clarity, weaving together data, insights, and stories so that impact is communicated powerfully to funders, boards, and communities.

Institutionalizing
MEAL
MEAL works best when it is part of organisational culture, not a standalone task. This program helps organisations embed MEAL across leadership, programs, and systems, ensuring that evidence-driven learning and accountability are sustained over time.

Going to School – Storytelling for Impact
Strengthening teams to capture authentic youth voices.
4th Wheel partnered with Going to School to deliver a Storytelling for Impact workshop for programme teams working with young people. The workshop built skills in empathetic listening, participatory storytelling, and ethical data use.
Participants worked through strategy ideation, survey design, field testing, and storytelling for evaluation. Together, they developed contextualised indicators, refined baseline tools for programmes and learnt ways to garner authentic beneficiary narratives to strengthen both evaluation and communication.

Accenture Development Partnerships – Building Practical Skills for Social Impact Measurement
Turning data into decisions that drive change.
4th Wheel designed and facilitated a half-day workshop on Social Impact Management and Measurement (SIMM) for 20 Accenture participants. The training built practical skills in Theory of Change design, indicator selection, participatory tools, and dashboard monitoring. Using real-world case studies, participants practiced data analysis and evidence-based communication, strengthening their ability to design reliable, adaptive impact measurement systems.

Social Impact Management and Measurement Workshop
Equipping professionals with tools for data-driven impact.
4th Wheel designed and delivered a one-day workshop to strengthen social sector professionals’ skills in impact strategy, management, and measurement. Participants explored five core areas: Theory of Change, SMART indicators, participatory data tools, analysis plans, and impact storytelling. Through group discussions, peer learning, and practical templates, the workshop enabled participants to understand and apply MEAL approaches more confidently in their organisations.

Problem-Solving Workshop on SDG 17
Catalyzing collaboration for global partnerships.
We convened a multi-stakeholder workshop to strengthen SDG 17 by fostering open dialogue and joint problem-solving among government, civil society, and nonprofit partners. Training Programs and Workshops
We build organisational capacity through practical workshops and training on Theory of Change, indicators, data collection tools, and qualitative and quantitative analysis, strengthening team capabilities to make evidence-based decisions and improve program outcomes.

Importance of Capacity Building
At the heart of every impactful organisation lies its people. Strategies, technologies, and data may set the direction, but it is the skills and understanding of teams that bring them to life. When individuals are equipped to interpret frameworks, apply tools, and use evidence in their daily work, organisations move from intent to real, sustained change.
Capacity building is therefore not an optional exercise, but the foundation of lasting impact. It strengthens organisations from within, enabling teams to design stronger programmes, measure outcomes that matter, and adapt with confidence. By investing in people, organisations cultivate resilience, foster accountability, and ensure that strategies do not remain on paper but are shared across teams, enabling better implementation and meaningful translation into outcomes.
At The 4th Wheel, we see capacity building as unlocking this potential. Our focus on MEAL ensures that strategies are implemented effectively, technologies are used meaningfully, and impact is not just measured but understood and acted upon. Through practical, context-driven approaches, we help organisations create confident teams that can sustain outcomes, adapt to change, and drive evidence-based impact well into the future.
