About The Role
We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong experience in managing data, building structures, and using advanced analytical tools to generate insights. Proficiency in Excel, SPSS, or R is essential. You will manage large datasets, design dashboards, and support diverse project analysis needs while ensuring accuracy and consistency across our social impact consulting assignments.
Resposibilities
Data Management & Analysis
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights for clients and internal projects
Develop and maintain robust data structures to ensure data integrity and consistency across all datasets
Perform statistical analysis using tools like SPSS, R, or Excel to identify trends, patterns, and key insights
Dashboard Creation & Reporting
•Design and develop interactive dashboards to visually present key data insights for clients and internal teams
Create regular data reports that highlight important metrics, trends, and areas for improvement
Develop and implement KPIs to track project success, profitability, and client satisfaction
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with project managers and M&E specialists to understand data needs and ensure timely and accurate delivery of analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven recommendations for improving project efficiency and outcomes
Act as a point of contact for any data-related queries, providing timely resolutions and insights
Data Quality Assurance
Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and validity of data entered and analyzed across all projects
Continuously improve data collection and analysis processes to enhance overall project quality
Perform regular audits on data processes to ensure compliance with internal standards
Qualification
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
Experience:
2+ years of experience working with large datasets, data analysis, and reporting.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Excel for data analysis, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
Experience with SPSS or R for statistical analysis.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to create interactive dashboards.
Knowledge of data structures and how to organize and manage data for large-scale analysis.
Strong understanding of statistical analysis methods and how to apply them to social data.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data findings in a clear and accessible way to non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to Detail:
Ability to maintain accuracy while managing and analyzing large volumes
Sector Experience:
Experience in the social sector or with M&E projects is a plus, though not mandatory
