About The Role
The Senior Executive, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), will support the design and implementation of M&E frameworks across social impact projects. Guided by senior team members, you will execute data collection, perform analyses, and ensure adherence to data quality standards. Resposibilities
M&E Framework Development & Tool Creation
Write inception reports and develop comprehensive M&E frameworks for social impact projects
Design and develop data collection tools, instruments, and survey questionnaires
Create logical frameworks, theory of change models, and result measurement matrices
Develop standard operating procedures for data collection and quality assurance
Field Team Leadership & Data Collection Management
Lead and coordinate field teams during data collection activities
Provide training to field staff on M&E methodologies, tools, and data collection protocols
Monitor and supervise field operations to ensure data quality and adherence to timelines
Conduct field visits to oversee data collection and provide on-ground support to teams
Data Analysis & Evidence Generation
Conduct comprehensive quantitative and qualitative data analysis
Generate evidence-based insights and actionable recommendations from collected data
Create compelling data visualizations, charts, and infographics to present findings
Develop analytical reports that translate data into meaningful stories for stakeholders
Client Presentations & Stakeholder Communication
Prepare and deliver presentations to clients showcasing project findings and impact
Communicate complex M&E findings in clear, accessible language to diverse audiences
Lead client meetings and discussions on project progress, challenges, and recommendations
Facilitate stakeholder workshops and feedback sessions on M&E results
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare comprehensive M&E reports, including baseline, midline, and endline studies
Document project learnings, best practices, and recommendations for future interventions
Maintain detailed project records and ensure proper documentation of all M&E activities
Create executive summaries and policy briefs for different stakeholder groups.
Qualification
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in social work, Development Studies, Statistics, Economics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
1.5 to 3 years of experience specifically in Monitoring & Evaluation roles in social development projects, NGOs, or research organizations
Skills:
Strong knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SPSS, R, or similar statistical software
Experience in developing M&E frameworks, logical frameworks, and theory of change models
Proven ability to design and implement data collection tools and survey instruments
Experience in leading and training field teams on M&E protocols and methodologies
Excellent presentation skills with ability to communicate findings to clients and stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and at least one Indian language
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams across different cultural and social backgrounds
Comfortable working in field settings and rural/urban community environments
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Proficiency in data visualization tools and creating compelling presentations
Experience with mobile data collection platforms (SurveyCTO, KoBo Toolbox, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high data quality standards
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines
Preferred:
Experience of social development programs in areas such as education, health, livelihoods, or governance
Familiarity with participatory evaluation methods
Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization.
